She brings nearly two decades of editorial strategy and reporting experience across The Washington Post, National Geographic, Condé Nast, and Warner Bros. Discovery. She began her journalism career by launching D.C. Music Download — a Washington, D.C. music website that led to a reporting and editing role covering arts and culture for The Washington Post Express. She is the author of two books on D.C.'s punk music scene. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband Josh and cat Archie.
